ITINERARY CAMBODIA AND VIETNAM

DAY 1: ARRIVE SIEM REAP

Be met on your arrival in Siem Reap this morning and transfer to your hotel. Tonight is the welcome
dinner. 

DAY 2: SIEM REAP

Head to Angkor Archaeological Park. Visit the last capital of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom, where
you’ll see the 13th century temple, Bayon, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper
King. Tonight enjoy a Khmer meal and performance. 

DAY 3: ANGKOR
Travel to the temple of Then Banteay Srei, then visit Ta Prohm, famous for its intertwined trees. On
your return to Siem Reap, visit a ‘grass roots’ orphanage then explore Angkor Wat. Choose from
several excellent dining options. 

DAY 4: PHNOM PENH

Visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda as well as the National Museum of Cambodia, home to
the world’s largest collection of Khmer art. After lunch, head to the infamous Killing Fields and the
Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, located on the site of the Khmer Rouge’s Security Prison 21 (S-21).

DAY 5: TRAVEL TO HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON)

Travel to Ho Chi Minh City by Mekong Express. Transfer to hotel for check-in. A short sightseeing tour
of Ho Chi Minh City : Lamson Mosque, The Hundred Years Red Cthedral (Notre Dame Cathedral),
The Old Post Office and The People’s Committee Hall.

DAY 6:
After breakfast, a two hour drive to My Tho will expose the colourful outskirt life as well as picturesque
rice fields along the journey. Upon arrival, get on a boat trip up Mekong River with islet stop at Thoi
Son to taste seasonal fruits, enjoy tradisional folk songs. Then, visit the authentic life of the local and
challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops. An adventurous sampan ride in palm
shading creek will be the next experience of the riverside region. Lunch at Mekong halal restaurant.

DAY 7: CU CHI TUNNELS, TAY NINH

This morning visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese
resistance fighters during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, drive through the countryside to the town of
Tay Ninh. Observe the noon service then return to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 8: FREE DAY / SHOPPING

Enjoy shopping at Mai Collection and Minh Collection where you can buy baju kurung, telekong,
tudong, then go to Thai Tuan Vietnamese silk shop, Saigon Square (embroidery handbag), An Dong
Wholesale Market and An Dong Plaza. Free for shopping at Ben Thanh Market.

DAY 9: DEPART HO CHI MINH CITY 

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
