Jakie Robinson is a great baseball player that has three childs also he was a great father, And

he could teach his childs how to be a good person. Also he broke the color barrier. He was
great on and off the field he also help mlk fundraise. And I think that he’s most important factor
of success is personal qualities this is my opinion .

The first reason for Jackie’s success is self control in pg.29 “BR knew he’d chosen the right
man” also Brach Rickey would not have chose him if he wouldn't have self control on pg.43 it
says someone “pitched the ball at him” and “Jackie Robinson contained his anger” that’s how
self control help Jakie Robinson.

The second reason for Jakie’s success is courage in pg.21 “Dad ignored the command” that
they told him to go to the back of the bus also if he wouldn’t ignored the command he wouldn’t
have courage. And in pg.21 “refusing to play any sport for the army” this shows that Jackie was
not scared and this help Jackie in not being scared of anything.

The factor of success that was the most important , in my opinion it is personal qualities.
because I believe that if Jackie would not have personal qualities he wouldn’t have broken the
color barrier because he would be punching people.
