Jackie robison is one of the best baseball players of all time and he did good on and off the

field.He is a baseball player and a social activist.He helped end segregation and racism and he
broke the color barrier.He went to the army also he got arrested.His brother mac was in the
olympics.Jackie robinson had a foundation.also had 3 kids.My opinion is that his factor for
success was a free society.

My first reason to show why it is a free society is that jackie robinson was given the opportunity
to play mlb baseball.Branch rickey believed in a free society and let Jackie robinson play mlb
baseball.In the quote it says,,he deeply believed in equality and thought it was unfair to keep
black ballplayers out of the major leagues.

My second reason is that Branch rickey was the first person to propose integrated baseball but
the commissioner at that time said no then the commissioner died and the new commissioner
said yes.my evidence that Branch rickey was the first to propose integrated baseball.In the
quote it says,,when rickey first proposed the commissioner was firmly against it.

Branch rickey was the first person to propose integrated baseball.When branch rickey proposed
