Dr Jody Carrington:
We get tires when we forget just how much we matter
- When we don't get appreciated
- When we don't appreciate others
- When we don't appreciate ourselves

When you do good work you will have bad days

- Hard days will come, rejection, loss, criticisms
- Even the people you love the most might not see how hard you are working
- If you are going to give it away it’s going to get broken
- Vulnerability hangover is a real thing
- Those who love the hardest hurt the hardest
- Trauma lives in the untold stories, the unacknowledged pain.
- Being a good human is hard work
- Just because you dealt with the stressor doesn't mean you've dealt with the stress.
- When we need it the most it's the hardest to do

- Reconnection : your why, health, hopes, babies, partner, your breath
- Rest: 42% of your day should be spent resting (not all sleeping but breaks and doing
things you love, eating good food, reading a book, relaxing and recharging)
- Joy: different then happiness. Joy is a choice, seek it, belly laugh, dance in your kitchen,
find your kinda funny on the internet and laugh until you cry.
- Gratitude: take practice, think about why the things and people you love are lucky to
have you.
