1) Firm strategy, structure and rivalry.

- Long term vision of the company – Measure the success of Primark in the UK and
show if this company will be successful in Morocco (yes/no) why?

- Show examples of how the company is successful in the UK – the level of success
would be measured by the number of shops that are open (Primark has recently
opened its biggest branch in the world which is located in Birmingham), the profit
of Primark, the image of Primark (Despite the devastating history of Primark
regarding its building that was demolished.

- Presence of domestic rivalry improves a company’s competitiveness – Compare


Primark with other brands in Morocco such as LCWaikiki, Stradivarius, H&M and
other and show how rivalry improve the performance of Primark. As all these
brands provide good quality with a reasonable price, which is what the Moroccan
consumer is looking for. How will beat these competitors or how will it survive in a
new country.

2) Demand Conditions

- The home demand for the industry – show the needs of people and if the Primark
will meet and satisfy the needs.
- Demands creates capabilities and sophisticating and demanding consumers – If the
population of Morocco has a high and sophisticated demand that will put pressure
on Primark to provide high quality products with reasonable prices.

3) Related & Supporting industries

- The presence or absence of supplier industries and related industries that are
internationally competitive. – The supplier of the company and how will bring its
products (importation), and how will these products affect local products.

- The demand could go higher due to how different the products provided, as it is a
multinational company and affect products that do not exist within the host country.

Analyse and assess if this is a viable option for the company to operate within post covid 19.
