Seven hood-pull trials were performed with a digital meter for each of the four vehicles. The high and low measurements were
discarded and the remaining five were averaged to determine the result. The result represents the greatest effort required until the point

Visibility is vital to driver safety and worker productivity and is essential

area. Poor sight lines — especially in congested areas like job sites or within the

Many things affect visibility:

WorkStar® provides excellent sight lines and is competitive in all areas. With the
available sloped hood, driver’s straight ahead visibility is especially good and is nearly

Visibilty Methodology
A position in space is found within the cab of each vehicle based on established
standards relative to the positioning of equipment within each vehicle. This position
represents the driver’s eye point of an average size (5'10" person), as seated in a
natural, comfortable position. This position remains constant across all vehicles
relative to each vehicle’s equipment.
