 OVERVIEW OF COMPANY
COMPANY BACKGROUND

PT Borneo Indo Tani established in 2008.

The business activities of PT. Borneo Indo Tani focus on harvesting fresh fruit bunches
(“FFB”) from palm oil trees, PT. Borneo Indo Tani manages 19,101,14 hectares of Izin
Lokasi, planted of palm oil plantation.
The scope of the company consists of plantation development, trade, and the field of post-
plantation processing, located in Desa Cinta Puri, Martapura, South Kalimantan.
The company plans to construct Palm Oil Mill/ Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS) in capacity of 60
tons/hour, the PKS construction is estimated to be finished in 2018.
The company manages Izin Lokasi of total area of 19.083 ha with in-planted area of 5.923
ha (core and plasma). The total number of workers is +/- 426, consists of both permanent
and out-sourced workers.
Besides developing plantation of palm oil in the core area, this company also partnering in
5 village unions (KUD), including KUD Mas Intan Jaya, KUD Berkat Subur, KUD Bauntung
Betuah, KUD Bina Benua Bersama, and KUD Cinta Puri Darusalam.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The company is partnering with 5 different village unions

(KUD) in order to develop plasma plantation of palm trees
and to promote the villages where the plantations are

Those village unions (KUD) are Entity Under Common JAYA SUBUR

 AREA CONDITION
The geographical location of this plantation is well situated, near with jetty and this keeps transport costs low.
Ground level of plantation area is flat, Average total rainfall per year is 2,500 mm well distributed throughout the
year with a short two month dry season.
Terracing has been implemented as a standard policy, leguminous cover crops have been planted and the land is
well drained with no significant drainage problems.
The first company in South Kalimantan to gather plasma plantation with nucleus plantation in one concession.
There is a jetty. There are main roads, collection roads, having bridges where required.
The plantation is divided into blocks for efficient management.
INFRASTRUCTURE AND SUPPORTING FACILITIES

Infrastructure in relation to housing is adequate. There are staff houses,

guesthouse and workers housing. Additionally there is an office,
warehouse, canteen and a mosque.
