A lot of countries invest in bringing international students into their countries and Turkey is no exception
to it. Foreign students are becoming a valuable asset all across the world. Countries and educational
institutions throughout the globe have begun to implement policies and initiatives aimed at attracting the
best overseas students. The diversity and benefits that foreign students bring to the host country is
numerous which is logical. The purpose of this essay is to shade light over the reasons why we need
foreign students.

Firstly, overseas students lead to the effectiveness of university excellence in a variety of ways. To begin
with, foreign students challenge and therefore do not take the present system for granted. This may result
in the organization's and programs' content being improved. Based on their past education and life
expertise, they can also add new perspectives to the addressed themes. These students are the sources that
can lead to an improvement in the education system of a university and in broader sense to a country.
Pupils can also acquire connections in their area of profession from past university courses at higher
educational levels (master's and PhD degrees). These connections can be useful for finding new
collaborators for research initiatives and keeping up with current research, for example. The presence of
international students gives an edge in terms of improving the education system of a university because to
gain international students a university needs to have a high education levels and standards such as
METU and Bilkent universities. As a result, having overseas students lead to improvement in the
education system.

Secondly, foreign students' financial terms and economic contributions to their host nations are difficult
to be ignored. In fact, the income earned through international learners can greatly boost not only a
university’s revenue but also a country’s revenue. This is what every first county try to achieve. For
example, Australia attracts hundreds of thousands of international students specifically from china and
south Asian countries. Yearly, the revenue is in access to 3 billion Australian dollars. The income of the
host country will be coming not only from tuition fees but also in the broader sense. What's more,
overseas students make up a significant portion of high-skilled and legal migration. The students who
graduate from a foreign university tend to stay in the host country. High-skilled immigration, which is
shaped in part by overseas students after graduation, enriches the capital flow in a variety of ways in the
host country.

Lastly, Foreign students contribute to a diversified campus community. What this means is that all
learners are prepared for life in the twenty-first century and professions in a world's marketplace by
having a diversified campus. In many situations, university will be a student's first opportunity to live,
work, and learn alongside individuals who are not from their hometown or cultural background. If a
university wants to provide worldwide accepted education, they have to have international students in

their campuses. Universities that welcome overseas students and strive hard to create a culturally varied
academic environment provide students with genuine opportunity to learn about themselves and their
surroundings.

In conclusion, having international students in a country lead to a lot of advantages such as boost in
finance, diversified learning environment and a higher education standard. Overseas students also
contribute to our universities' cultural and social variety, improving the knowledge and educational
environment while also assisting domestic students in developing globally relevant abilities.
