JUDGING PANEL
The COMEX Awards Committee follows a comprehensive set of rules & procedures that facilitates the judges on the judging panel & the judging
procedure in the evaluation & selection of the Award winners. The procedures are impartial, transparent, independent, & neutral.

The Judging Panel

• The judges on the Judging Panel consist of government & non-government, senior technology experts who are invited or join on a voluntary basis, and who are
not related in a professional capacity with any of the participating companies or their competitors. Each award category may have a different group of judges.
• The Judging Panel will receive a comprehensive Awards kit, including the Award categories, evaluation criteria & grading guidelines.
• Each judge will examine & grade each nomination document independently on a scale of 0 – 10 (10 being highest grade); & each application will be graded online
& independently by a minimum of 2 - 3 Jury members for each award category.
• The Arabian Research Bureau (Research partner) will tabulate & average the scores received from Jury members & these will be presented to the Validation
partner / Awards Jury Committee for verification
• The Decision & Judgement of the COMEX Awards Jury committee will be final & irrevocable.
• No legal claim will be accepted by any of the Jury members, research partner, validation partner, COMEX Awards Committee or the Organiser from applicants,
as the applicant will have agreed to this disclaimer at the time of application.
• The evaluation is kept confidential & will not be disclosed to any of the participants.

NOMINATION PROCEDURES & SUBMISSION

• Nominations can be submitted by Omani companies, both public & private or International companies represented via an Omani company
• The nomination should be submitted in English
• The Pre Registration of intent form for the Award should be completed online
• The Nomination forms for the awards should be completed online
• The winners for each award will be decided as per the general criteria of that award
• Companies can nominate themselves for a maximum of 3 category of awards
• All the applications & documents related to the award nomination procedure will be handled confidentially
• The judging panel can eliminate any nomination that does not meet the requirements & criteria for the award
• The judging panel can eliminate any nomination that contains incorrect or inappropriate data or information
• The judging panel will not ask for evidence & will grade based on the information available at hand/online

Submission of Extra Supporting Documents
• Extra supporting documents can include short videos, or any other published material
• The extra documents should be hyperlinked & organized systematically within the 5 pages of the nomination
form

All nominations must contain sufficient information to help the selection process.
The jury will make a decision based on supplied material & verify using reliable public information.

HOW ARE THE WINNERS CHOSEN?

• Companies who wish to nominate themselves can choose a maximum of 3 categories & should fill in the form
of intent to participate in the awards before the deadline.
• Qualified Companies will be sent a link to the nomination form.
• The nomination form will have general information with a disclaimer & a set of 5 questions. Each question
will be graded on a scale of 0 – 10 (10 being highest grade). The total 50 marks will be multiplied x2 to reach
a score of 100 %. Nomination Form will have to be completed & submitted online within the deadline.
• The winners are chosen by the COMEX Awards Jury Committee based on the evaluation & grading completed
as per the above methodology & verified by the Validation Partner/ Jury Committee.
• The winners will be announced at the COMEX Awards Ceremony in the presence of various government &
other senior dignitaries
• The results will be featured on COMEX’s official website & other media channels.
