examples of other ecotourism destinations. Ecotourism is a tourism
that offers exotic, natural environments, especially to support
conservation efforts and observe wildlife. Example of Ecotourism are
Ujung Kulon National Park, Bogor Botanical Garden, Waykambas
National Park.
2) As one of ecotourism destination, what does Tanjung Puting National
Park offer to tourists? Tanjung Puting National Park offers the most
incredible animals in the world, especially for orangutans and
proboscis monkeys.
3) How is the park different from the parks in the cities? The difference
between Tanjung Puting National Park and city park is Tanjung Puting
National park is a real jungle.
4) How is Camp Leakey related to Tanjung Puting National Park? Camp
Leaky is located in the heart of Tanjung Puting National Park.
5) How can people reach Camp Leakey? They can reach Camp Leakey by
using boathouse.
6) What does the word ex-captive tell you about the orang utans in Camp
Leakey,which is a rehabilitation site for orangutans? Ex-captive animal
means an animal which was captured by people and didn't live in their
natural habitat before.
7) What is special about the means of transportation to Camp Leakey?
The traveling in the boat offers another unforgettable experience
such as cook, and eat in that boathouse.
8) How interesting or uninteresting is the journey on the way toCamp
Leaky? Why do you think so? It's very interesting, because in daylight,
on the way to Camp Leaky, we can see trees filled with proboscis
monkeys. At night, we can enjoy the clear sky and the amazingly bright
stars as the only lights for the night.
9) How interested are you in visiting Tanjung Puting National Park? What
makes you interested (or not interested) in the park. I'm really interested.
What makes me interested is the traveling in the boat that offers another
unforgettable experience. It feels like a journey to search for the orangutans.
