IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS (Social, Economic, Political, Environmental)

INTRODUCTION

Global Coronavirus cases exceeds 7,80,000. The outbreak of COVID-19 was first reported in the city
of Wuhan, central China’s Hubei Province, in Dec 2019. The Coronavirus outbreak was declared as
the Global Pandemic on 11th March 2020 by World Health Organization (WHO) as the outbreak was
spread to 100 + countries. COVID-19 is the respiratory illness caused by the novel coronavirus with
the symptoms like sore throat, shortness of breath, coughing, fatigue and spreads from person to
person. The more severe forms of the infection can be anything from the Severe Acute Respiratory
Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).The novel coronavirus is the new
type that was not identified in humans previously. The consequences are beyond the spread of the
disease.
