SUN
Our Sun is a 4.5-billion-year-old star – a hot glowing ball of hydrogen and helium at
the center of our solar system. The Sun is about 93 million miles (150 million
kilometers) from Earth, and without its energy, life as we know it could not exist
here on our home plant. The sun is the closest star to earth. The sun is the largest
thing in Our solar system.
MOON
The brightest and largest object in our night sky, the Moon makes Earth a more
livable planet by moderating our home planet's wobble on its axis, leading to a
relatively stable climate. It also causes tides, creating a rhythm that has guided
humans for thousands of years. The Moon was likely formed after a Mars-sized
body collided with Earth.
STARS
A star is an astronomical object consisting of a luminous spheroid of plasma held
together by its own gravity. The nearest star to Earth is the Sun. Many other stars are
visible to the naked eye at night, but due to their immense distance from Earth they appear
as fixed points of light in the sky
