Is it better to talk to friends face-to-face or online?

The internet is implemented in everyone life. Nowadays, it is necessary the internet and specially the
communications. In 2019, 80.9% of the families, in Portugal, have access of internet at home.
With or without internet, teenagers talk about the same things. School; gossips; problems at home and
making plans with each others, are the main subjects. For some teenagers, it is boring write messages, so
they prefer calls.
Teenagers pass a lot of time on social media talking with their friends; playing video games online;
watching films and series. Face-to-face, teenagers like to talk and have fun. They usually say “when we
are with together, the time just passes away”.
Personally, it depends which are the friends that I talk to. I prefer talk face-to-face with my closest friends
and the ones I like the most, because we have more subjects to talk about. I don’t like to use the internet to
argue or talk about hard stuff. In my opinion, it is better to talk face-to-face than online.
Concluding, teenagers are more and more addicted to Internet. Some of them prefer staying at home
playing games or in the phone than going outside and hanging out with their friends. It is more chocking
that some parents let this happen.
