Peaky Blinders is a British period crime drama television series created by Steven

Shelby, Elizabeth Polly Gray and Arthur Shelby, the gang's senior members. It was
announced that series 6 is going to be the last with its premiere on BBC One on 27th
February 2022.
It is an epic drama centered on a gangster family of Irish Romani Origin set in
Birmingham, England, starting in 1919, several months after the end of the First
World War in November 1918. It centers on the Peaky Blinders gang and their
ambitious cunning boss, Tommy Shelby (Murphy). The gang comes to the attention of
Major Chester Campbell, a detective chief inspector (named as "Coppers" in the
drama) in the Royal Irish Constabulary sent over by Winston Churchill from Belfast,
where he had been sent to clean off the city of the Irish Republican Army,
Communists, gangs and common criminals. Winston Churchill charged him
suppressing disorder and uprising in Birmingham and recovering a stolen cache of
arms meant to be shipped to Libya. The first series concluded on 3rd December 1919-
Black Star Day, the event where the Peaky Blinders plan to take over Billy Kimber's
betting pitches at the Worcester Races.

The second series has the Peaky Blinders expand their criminal organisation in the
"South and North while maintaining a stronghold in their Birmingham heartland. It
begins in 1921 and ends with a climax at Epsom Racecourse on 31 May 1922, Derby
Day.

The third series starts and ends in 1924, as it follows Tommy and the gang entering an
even more dangerous world as they once again expand, this time internationally. The
third series
also features Father Hughes (Paddy Considine) who is involved in an anti-Communist
organisation; Ruben Oliver (Alexander Siddig), a painter whom Polly enlists to paint
her portrait; Russian Duchess Tatiana Petro nova (Gatie Jansen); and Linda Shelby
(Kate Phillips), new wife of Arthur.

The fourth series begins on Christmas Eve 1925, and ends following the general strike
of May 1926, with Tommy using Jessie Eden for information and being elected as a
Member of Parliament in 1927.

The fifth series begins two years later on 29 October 1929 (Black Tuesday) and ends
on 7 December 1929, the morning after a rally led by fascist leader Oswald Mosley.

The sixth series begins in 1933 when prohibition ends in the United States of America
and the Nazi Party have now seized power of Germany, leading to a growth in
membership of the British Union of Fascists.

Everything from the colours, sets, costumes, editing and cinematography is swoon-
worthy right. Peaky Blinders takes the liberty to be mystical, lyrical and a visual treat.
Overall, this was pacy, looked good and was fun to watch. Brutal violence, sex, and
drugs in a Vintage Gang Drama. If you like crime, drama, and action it is one of the
best shows to watch.
The first impression that I got from watching Peaky Blinders was that there was going
to be a whole lot of violence and tactical planning involved throughout the entirety of
the show. And that is exactly what happens.

Welcome to the world of Small Heath (it smells like shit as rightly said by Alfie
Solomon!), cigarettes, whiskey sours and 'You don't f*ck with the Peaky fookin
Blinders!’ Now I'm going to rate Peaky Blinders on three aspects - Acting, Plot and
Dialogues. Based on this you can decide if it's the show for you.

Acting - With Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy involved I can assure you the acting
of EVERY CHARACTER is fantastic. Right from the intense conversations involving
negotiations to the brutal killings and action. You want sophistication you have Polly
and Thomas. You want action you have Arthur and John. You want your typical
Italian mafia- Mr. Changretta will be happy to meet you. A solid 9/10.

Plot - Each season has 6 episodes each and there is a different storyline to every
season so rest assured it will move at a brisk pace and not lag at any point. As far as
twists are concerned well, I don't want to snatch the experience from you, do I? Get
ready for a rocky ride people! 8/10

Dialogues - Each episode has a separate fan base of many dialogues that went viral
like- “Vengeance is forthcoming, and long overdue,” or "Peaky fookin Blinders", The
show’s infamously wandering Birmingham accents tend to stand their ground a little
better in two situations: conveying menace, and barking swearwords. Perhaps a
growled “fuck off” is first on the accent coach’s to-do list. "Men don’t have the
strategic intelligence to conduct wars between families,” Polly said, dryly, and the
female characters have been slowly sliding to the front of the action all series. 10/10!

In conclusion go for it. I promise you, if not anything you will be thoroughly
entertained by the individual performances.

- By order of the Peaky Blinders!
