Introduccion Verbo Auxiliar
Los verbos principales pueden ser irregulares o regulares. Se les llama irregulares porque pueden cambiar o no su forma
o el cambio puede ser parcial o total. No existen reglas para este tipo de cambio, a diferencia de los verbos regulares
que únicamente se les suma la terminación “–ed”.
Los verbos irregulares cambian su forma cuando se les conjuga en pasado simple o pasado participio. En el resto de las
conjugaciones se forman a través de un auxiliar + participio o pasado participio o infinitivo.
AUXILIARY VERBS (Negative Form)
Para formular una oración en negativo se coloca la partícula “NOT” después del verbo auxiliar
She can speak English. Generalmente se utiliza la contracción “n’t”
She can speak English. She cannot speak English
We must go there We must not go there
Cambia las siguientes oraciones de afirmativo a negativo. Usa la contracción excepto con el auxiliar “MAY”
1. We can meet you later.
We can't meet you later
2. You may sit here.
You may not sit here
3. We should tell her about it.
We should'nt tell her about it
4. He may leave on Wednesday.
He may not leave on Wednesday
5. They can go by plane.
They can't go by plane
6. We must wait here.
We mustn't wait here
7. I can understand him easily.
8. She should sit near the window.
She shouldn't sit near the window
9. We must do the same thing again.
We mustn't do the same thing again
10. She can play the piano well.
She can't play the piano well
11. He can understand everything I say.
He can't understand everything I say
12. You should watch television every night.
You shouldn't watch television every night
13. She may pass her examinations.
She may not pass her examinations

AUXILIARY VERBS (Interrogative Form)
Para formular una oración en interrogativa se coloca el auxiliar antes del sujeto de la oración
She can speak English. Can she speak English?
We must go there Must we go there?
Reescribe las siguientes oraciones de afirmativo a interrogativo.
1. They must be there by ten o'clock.
Must they be there by ten o'clock?
2. They both can speak English well.
Can they both speak English well?
3. She should spend more time on her English.

AUXILIARY VERBS (Interrogative Form)
Tanto con verbos auxiliares y el verbo “BE” se coloca el auxiliar antes del sujeto de la oración. Esta regla aplica aun cuando la
pregunta se formula con los pronombres interrogativos como son: “where, when, why, how or what”
They should go home now. He is in Chicago
Should they go home now? Is he in Chicago?
When should they go home? Where is he?
Reescribe las siguientes oraciones de afirmativo a interrogativo iniciando con el pronombre interrogativo entre paréntesis
