flange of the ash accumulation points to
the conditioning and loading of the ash

Fluidised bed ashes Aeroslide systems

Based on 50 years vast experience,
Claudius Peters are able to offer the best
possible solution for new or existing
power stations.
Whether we are dealing with stationary,
circulating or pressurised fluidised beds,
Claudius Peters will recommend the
most efficient operation based on the
clients' requirements.
The characteristics of a modern plant
are optimum availability and the most
economic method of operation. The
Claudius Peters aeroslide systems are a
prime example: - this extremely efficient
system, together with the airlift
conveyance system guarantee the
lowest possible wear and energy-saving
operation.

The use of the ash bin between the

electro-static precipitators ensures
shorter conveying distances, resulting
in energy savings.
Pneumatic aero slides feed the fly ash
to the airlifts which then transport the
ash into the ash bin. This arrangement
provides the highest possible
availability and maintenance-free
operation, reducing wear to an absolute
minimum and guaranteeing the lowest
energy consumptions.

For the storage of fly ash - whether
in regular storage facilities or long-
term storage units - Claudius Peters
provides the optimum solution.
Where only a small construction space
is available, we recommend the use of
Claudius Peters Duocell silos. A special
silo fluidisation system ensures the
highest degree of discharge and the
highest mixing effect for most types of fly
ash.
In addition to the actual storage of fly
ash, we also supply weighing systems
with connected stationary or mobile
loading systems for dry or humid
loading. More than 1000 plants are
currently in operation, with these
optimally designed systems providing
increased levels of efficiency and
requiring less manpower.

Storage and loading of limestone meal
The required limestone meal, lime
hydrate or burnt lime is delivered in silo
vehicles either by rail or road.
For unloading of the material we design
and manufacture complete unloading
stations with all the necessary
connecting pipelines and corresponding
accessories. For brown coal power
stations with an extremely high
consumption of limestone meal,
Claudius Peters has already supplied
unloading facilities for ten tank cars
connected in parallel, each with a
capacity of 56 t/h, In this configuration,
up to 3,200 t per shift of limestone meal
can be unloaded.
The limestone meal is then stored in
high capacity or service silos. For this
purpose Claudius Peters supply
pneumatic conveying systems such as
pressure vessels, pumps or blow
feeders.
To date, Claudius Peters has supplied
silos for limestone meal with volumes
ranging between 50m3 and 4,000m3.
However silos with a volume of

10,000m3 and higher, are currently in

development.
For wet processes and spray
absorption processes, Claudius Peters
provide individual solutions for the
metering of the reaction agents, the
transport via screws and the reaction
bin.
Dependent upon the process, each
new plant is individually designed to
meet the client's specific requirement.
