DAY NUMBER Day’s Events

Day 1 We started our simulation duty with an exercise. It helped to wake us up as we went to the

school early. We all presented individually our Initial Data Base that we accomplished on our

previous CHN duties. Ma’am Daisy shared her thoughts and suggestions on our outputs for us

to improve them.

Day 2 It is a holiday so we had asynchronous classes. We used our free time to work on our Initial

Data Base, FNCPs, and journals. We also used the time to prepare for our quiz on herbal

medicines and the National Immunization Program. I was grateful for the free rime because it

allowed me to focus on my work and to rest as well.

Day 3 Our final day was full of learning. Ma’am Daisy one again generously shared her expertise on

CHN, especially on making FNCP and Evaluation tool. She checked our outputs one-by-one.

We also had a quiz on Herbal Medicines and the NIP of the DOH. It was a lot to study but I

know that it’ll be useful for us future nurses one day.

Our CHN duty was both a learning and fun experience.
