Sub: Reply to the Notice u/s 108 of the Customs Act 1962 dated
12.09.2019 which was affixed on the main gate of the applicant.

Sir/Madam

This is to inform that applicant Sh. Deepak Jain recently learned about the notice
issued dated 12.09.2019 vide file No. DRI/LZU/GIR/36/INT./02018 BOOK NO.
50 SRL. NO. 2651 which was affixed on the main gate 4514/13, Main Road,
Pahari Dhiraj, Delhi-110006 of the applicant. Therein the applicant was alleged
to commit fraudulent transaction with Allahabad Bank for financing of a vehicle.

The applicant was in utter shocked with the summon of notice dated 12.09.2019
against him since he never had any bank A/c in any branches of Allahabad Bank.
Till date he had neither made any transaction with Allahabad Bank in respect of
the allegation of made against him nor he had signed any transaction paper
pertaining to any dealing of vehicle as mentioned in the summon notice u/s 108
of the Custom Act 1962 affixed on the gate directing the applicant to appear
before this authority on 18.09.2019 at the address mentioned in the said summon
notice. However due to some confusion with his previous Advocate the applicant
failed to appear yesterday.

The applicant is innocent and respectable citizen and is no way connected with
the commission of any form of alleged offence or illegal transaction and has been
involved falsely implicated due to the personal grudge. The applicant is willing
to join the investigations and bind himself by the terms and conditions laid down
by the law or by this competent authority as and when the applicant is required
for investigation under the custom Act, 1962.

It is, therefore requested considering the above mention circumstances kindly

give another opportunity to the applicant to make him present before you. And he
further undertakes to cooperate as accordance to law.
