The Talk about SDG’S and Education

According to Bulent Yılmaz’s speech, Abdullah Gul University is one of the new
generation style universities. It has some development skills such as intellectual, personal,
social and even professional. There were some historical things of AGU in the speech which
is starting with the students in 2013 and graduated them in 2018. AGU became a faculty from
a factory which named Sumer Factory.
Firstly, Bulent Yılmaz mentioned that a search conferences approximately 8 years ago which
includes around 800 people worked on a project to create new model university. Moreover,
passion is talked as the most important thing in one of those conferences. Passion should be
had by students of Agu. The students should interest their major and try to find solutions to
social problems. Furthermore, there are some skills to have such as learning and thinking.
Some literacies have been mentioned in the speech by Bulent Yılmaz, like technology,
finance, health and media.
In conclusion, the primary aim of Bulent Yılmaz and AGU was to help this country, Turkey,
and to have good university. He wants the students to focus on the grand challenges of the
world because focusing on the world means that focusing on the area of us. This is sensitivity
and ethics. The moment I reached the end, Bulent Yılmaz’s amazing sentence, was that ‘get
out of the comfort zone’.
