ENGAGEMENT
Pumili ng isa sa functional area of management na sa tingin mo ay dun ka nababagay dahil sa
ito ang iyong gustong gawin, may kakayahan at kaalaman kang isagawa ito. Ilista ang mga ginagawa sa
bawat function ng mga taong in-charge rito.

Marketing Management is the process of managerial planning and carrying out the conception,
pricing, promotion, and distribution of goods and services in order to achieve satisfaction in individual and
organizational goals. I chose this area of management because I like to socialize with other people and
want to satisfy the needs of my consumers. Aside from that, I enjoy creating promotional materials that
will boost the visibility of my products. Through this, I'll be able to build both a creative and an analytical
mindset.

The primary role of a marketing manager is to promote a business, product, or service. Ensuring
what he is promoting appeals to customers the way the company intended it to, in order to increase
profits. The marketing manager accomplishes this by researching market trends and competitors,
overseeing marketing campaigns, and negotiating with third-party marketing agencies. Under the
marketing manager are his personnel who assist him in the different tasks of marketing management,
such as marketing research, product planning, selling, branding, packaging, pricing, advertising, analysis,
implementation, and control of goods. Marketing research is the process of determining how to
effectively market your product to the right customers in order to maximize its effectiveness. The
deliberate preparation of a product in order for it to be ready for the market is known as product planning.
The market's perception of the product is influenced by the sale, branding, packaging, pricing, and
advertising, which can either increase or decrease sales. These are all the different factors that the
marketing manager and his personnel will have to take into account in order for the organization or
business to succeed in marketing their product or service.

The importance of marketing in the business industry cannot be understated because it is the key
to organizational goal attainment, customer satisfaction, and profit gain. In the absence of a major
marketing management process – planning, execution, pricing, promotion, and distribution of goods and
services in order to conduct business with target groups – satisfying customers and reaching
organizational goals will be impossible.

ASSIMILATION
1. Paano ninyo isinagawa sa inyong performance task ang business functions?

- After we planned what to do with our organization, through the use of Human Resource/Personnel
Management, we assigned our group members to their proper positions which includes the different
areas of management. After the members were assigned, they carried out the respective tasks for
Marketing, Financial, and a combination of Operation/Production and Material Procurement/Purchase
Management. Marketing Management is assigned to research market trends, make strategic planning,
and produce promotional materials. Our Material Procurement/Purchase Management is combined with
Operation/Production Management since we agreed that whoever made the products, will also be the
ones who will acquire their needed ingredients and materials. Financial Management is the one who
records all the costs of production and makes the income statement of our organization.

2. Makikita ba sa inyong organization structure ang functional areas of management?

- Yes, because in our organization structure, there is a presence of Marketing, Financial, and a combination
of Operation/Production and Material Procurement/Purchase Management. In Marketing Management,
these are the personnel who promote and advertise our product. The combination of
Operation/Production Management and Material Procurement/Purchase Management are the ones
who acquire the necessary materials and manufacture the actual product to be sold by our organization.
Financial Management is the one who manages the capital, profits, losses, and the general finances of
our organization. In addition to these areas of management, the support of Human Resources/Personnel
Management is essential since it assists us in allocating the right people to their proper roles, which
maximizes efficiency within our organization.

3. Paano makakatulong ito sa isang organization/business?

- The functional areas of management help an organization/business the same way that all of the human
body's organs work together to regulate and maintain the body's functions. All the different areas of
management operate and function together in order to carry out business activities with maximum
efficiency for the success of the organization/business.
