Datum Electronics PTO 425 Connect with DCI Tech Note OCT-2021

Summary
Datum Electronics PTO 425 Connect systems are now only supplied with the Datum Connect
Interface [DUI] as this replaces the older Datum Universal Interface [DUI] which is now obsolete.

Please disregard all information in any documentation relating to the Datum Universal Interface and
its software package DUI Config as this is no longer supplied with the PTO 425 Connect Transducer.

The primary method of communication with your PTO 425 Connect is to use the free Datum Connect
App available on both Android and IOS download stores.

The PTO 425 Connect is supplied with the DCI and all necessary cables which will give you access to
the additional outputs that come with your torque sensor. The DCI also provides power to the PTO
sensor from either the provided PSU or can be powered direct locally with a +12-24Vdc.

PTO Software
Datum Electronics supply test software with the PTO 425 which is Torquelog 1.8-3MB which allows
you to view and log the torque, speed and power data from your tests. Please refer to the guidance
for use this as this is an interim software package whilst the final version is being quality checked for
release
