ASSIGNMENT #3: TIPS HOW TO GREET CUSTOMER

Instruction:
Enumerate 5 tips on how to properly greet guest as front desk agent. Explain each tip. You may
or may not have any scenario cited.
Tips:

1. Greet all visitors loud and clear - Greeting visitors with a smooth, clear tone of "Good
morning" or "Good afternoon" exudes a sense of competence that will be welcomed by
all.

2. Be proactive - Being proactive begins with a genuine grin. It shows your guests that
you care about them and want to connect with them. Ask, "How can I serve you
today?" and then pay attention to the customer's response.
3. Greet guest/s with a Purpose - Genuine communication and positivity with a grin can
build a lasting tone that leads to excellent patient satisfaction and retention.
4. The mannerisms - When speaking with guests, maintain a friendly demeanor and
always give them a genuine grin.
5. Empathetic and Caring - Guests may be fatigued when they arrive at the front desk to
check in. They could be starving. Guests may be irritated and worried as a result of
traffic or airport delays.
