Bookkeeper.

himself in continuous learning thru webinars and workshops.
 A jail officer who understands the purpose of any given task and can submit
reports and compliances in swift.
 With his guidance and dedication, more than twenty (20) PDL during the quarter
were released thru his assistance
 With the guidance and support of the Jail Warden, JO1 Abalos introduced and
established the first MSEC on jail

Escort Officer

Maintain the effective supervision and control of prisoners, ensuring that all prisoners can be
accounted for, at any time.
Establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with prisoners by being a positive
role model and an effective personal officer to nominated prisoners -this may involve playing an
active role in the custody/sentence management arrangements for your caseload.
Comply with the required security procedures under the National Security Framework and relevant
local instructions.
Deal with prisoner requests and complaints in an honest, timely, and appropriate manner following
national and local policies.

Respond to a variety of incidents involving prisoners where the use of force may be necessary,
restraining prisoners with approved techniques, when appropriate.

Records Officer
 Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology,
highly equipped with knowledge in technology.
 His knowledge of computer technology gives him as well as the jail the
advantage in records management.
 Certified multi-tasking personnel! as he is also having four additional
designations to wit; Paralegal Officer, Unit SAO, Escort JNOR and Bookkeeper.
 Shows ample commitment and dedication in completing the Single Carpeta
System, though much of his time was spent being an Escort JNOR, he gives
even his off-duty time for the completion of the said system.
 He designed formulated jail data/records that updates automatically for easy
access.
 Meycauayan City Jail records are currently upgrading and improving thru his
expertise.

Jail Nurse
 Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with Masters of Arts in Nursing,
highly equipped with knowledge and experience.
 Certified multi-tasking personnel! He efficiently acts as a jail nurse while also
being tasked as Custodial JNOR.
 Shows ample commitment, dedication, care, and love towards our PDL. Sick and
complaining PDL are well assessed and treated, he treats them as patients not
as offenders yet without compromising jail security.
 Had established a good rapport with Local Health Officers giving the PDL as well
as the Personnel many health benefits.

 He can be called a “Hero” in everything he did for the welfare and the
betterment of PDL’s health status.
 Successfully assisted a PDL at her pregnancy delivery inside the jail facility
during the jail absolute lockdown.

 Conducts rapid health assessment to all sick PDLs and provides first aid for
those who are in need.
 Giving proper health coordination to all allied agencies especially to LGU for
the betterment of health care delivery to include TBMS Coordination, HIV
Awareness, and HEPA B Screening.
 Regularly conducts health teachings, health advice, health counseling, and
health education for PDLs and Personnel with an average of 5-10 sessions
every month.
 Assisting in the conduction of DDE from the DDE trained doctor inside a jail
facility and giving DDE screening for the PDLs who are enlisted for the public
DDE.
 Giving health care delivery for the Elderly and health monitoring for senior
citizens on average of 10-15 elderly and seniors in a month.
 Regularly conducts Exit health screening for those who are entitled to be
released by the court to assess the health status of PDLs before their
reintegration into society with an average number of 10-20 released PDL in a
month.
 Properly Manage the medicine corner by practicing the first expiry first-out
method.
 Conducting health information for those seasonal diseases such as Dengue
and Jail rash.
 Assist in the conduction of HIV lectures, HIV counseling, and HIV testing from
the HIV-trained nurses from LGU.
 Assist in jail visits of other health staff came from different agencies such as
LGU, other BJMP Jail health staff, and Regional BJMP health staff.
 Giving appropriate medicines to sick PDLs with the use of proper medical
guidelines.
 Conducts regular sunning activity and exercise @ sunning area in this jail unit
as a part of health promotion and healthy lifestyle of PDLs inside jail
premises.
 Assist in the medical consultation of PDLs outside the jail facility for the
continuation of health care.
 Regular health monitoring for those pregnant PDLs inside jail to prevent
prenatal health problems.
 Intensify case finding regarding tuberculosis and other respiratory infection
that may be acquired while they are committed in our jail, enhance TB entry
screening to assess newly committed PDL at the holding cell before merging
into our official cells, and attend self-referred PDLs when it comes to TB case
intensification.
 Supervising waste segregation as a part of proper solid waste management
and promoting good sanitation inside a jail.

 Daily conduct regular greyhound operations.
 Constant conduct of Guard Mounting.
 Properly supervise the checking of padlocks and banging of grills in
each cell.
 Intense health protocols were observed during commitment of PDL
during pandemic.

 Continuous conduct of regular jail programs and activities such as
Online Holy Mass, Morning Meetings, E-Dalaw Services, Video
Conferencing Hearings, Online Drug Dependency Examination,
Sunning and Stretching Exercises, Cleaning and Disinfection and
Sterilization of Kitchen Utensils was properly administered by the duty
Lockdown Personnel.
