ASSESMENT
1. From your readings, differentiate sacraments from sacramentals. (10 pts.)
The difference between sacrament and sacramentals based in my own perspective and understanding.
The sacrament is consist of seven sacrament the we are receiving to our church like sacrament of
baptisms, confirmation, reconciliation, Eucharist, matrimony, anointing of the sick and holy orders.
The sacrament is instituted by Christ that have efficacious signs of grace. The sacramentals is the
Rosary, cross, holy water, bible and etc. To summit all sacramentals is a things that we use in
praying, masses, initiation that are related in our religion and the sacrament is when we receive
baptism, confirmation, Eucharist that is given by the priest, deacon or bishop so that's the difference.
REFLECTION

1. In your own Church, what are the actions you consider as sacraments and how are they being
performed? (10 pts.)
As a catholic we have seven sacrament, sacrament of baptisms, confirmation, reconciliation,
Eucharist, matrimony, anointing of the sick and holy orders. but I already receive four of the
sacrament I receive my baptism at very young age.I also receive Eucharist and reconciliation
that is given by the priest but the sacrament of confirmation was given by the Bishop. The
reconciliation performed between a priest and me by communicating and openness in my wrong
doing so that I can ask forgiveness and pray in front of the altar. Sacrament of Eucharist is when
I am attending mass and receiving my first communion or receiving the body of Christ for the
first time. The confirmation is given by the Bishop by putting a sign of cross in my for head
using oil.I receive my baptism together with my parent and Godparent after of many prayer the
priest will baptize me and welcome me as a new member of the church and as a Christian.
