Here is full step to extract client file properly to clear most of the problem

*This guide will not teach you how to set up your own server as it already explain
by community
*This guide will explain how to handling client file when user lazy to install setup
client file but already have launcher, so they don’t need any setup.
This file will contain pre-step before extract client file, extract client, and after extract step, Please
following guideline strictly.

Pre-step before extract client file

Here pre-step before extract client file

Step 1 : please make sure you check to see hidden file. Look for View > Check on Hidden items, you will
see and access cache directory path

Step 2 : Go to Path C:\Users\<Your_PC_Name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Caches

Or C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache

Then Press Ctrl+A to choose all file in Cache folder , so after that Press Shift+Delete to delete it
permanently
Step 3 : Reset / Check if ip was set to static/fixed

Step 4 : Go to Network and internet > Network and Sharing Center

Step 5 : Look for Network that you connected and click Ethernet
Step 6 : Click on Properties
Step 7 : Look for Internet Protocol version 4 > Click Properties on that > Check for Obtain an IP address
automatically then save by click OK
Step 8 : Search or look for internet option (It’s menu under control panel)
Step 9 : Click Delete… button to clear browsing history
Step 10 : Click on tab advanced > Click on reset (If user don’t see this option, I recommend to click on
restore advanced setting)
Step 11 : Check on Delete personal settings > Click Reset
Step 12 : If everything was clear and delete then click on apply to make sure you already did this.
Step 15 : Disabled Firewall for Private and Public
Step 16 : Search for Virus and Protection
Step 17 : Look for Virus & Threat protection setting
Step 18 : Go to Exclusion section > Add path to let your PC ignore scanning find suspicious file
automatically
Step 19 : Add folder Client file that you want to extract (Please to put or install Client file to D: drive , so
you don’t have permission read/write file. Mostly, C: drive will reserve permission due to OS security by
default )

Step 20 : Open internet explorer or Microsoft Edge > Press ctrl+shift+delete and clear browser history

Extract Client File

After download and extract file into Target folder that you make an exception on step 19

You will get these 3 files like this

Step 1 : Create new folder and extract

And extract MHF-ZZ_Installed _Files into new folder . For example, I create MHF – Offline then Delete
registry file
Step 2 : Move Unpacked Files.rar to new folder that you just extract MHF-ZZ_Installed and extract to
patch file. It will ask for overwrite > Click on yes to all

Step 3 : Move Translation Patches to new folder that you just extract MHF-ZZ_Installed and extract to
patch file. It will ask for overwrite > Click on yes to all

Step 4 : Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and open host file (Required Notepad++ or Visual

studio code with running admin permission to edit file)

(This file will point where is server located that you want to use)

Step 5 : Add Server (Host ip) who gonna run MHF -Z for client file
Hosting for other people (you have to do this if you want to play on the server and so does
anyone that wants to connect to you).

Localhost (If you're playing solo on the same machine and didn't change the IP in the config)

It will be something like this

After Extract Client File

Step 1 : Open Registry editor
Step 2 : Check if HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\CAPCOM existing

If there is CAPCOM, please delete CAPCOM folder

Step 3 : before click mhf.exe, Please do Step 8-10 and Step 20 that was mention on pre-step again .
Then Enjoy.

If it’s does not fix the problem try to restart PC and do pre-step again.
