The Coca-Cola Company

I. CURRENT SITUATION

A. Current Performance
The Coca-Cola Company announced strong third-quarter and year-to-date results
for 2021. The system displayed resilience and flexibility in 2021 by effectively navigating
another year of unpredictability. The company concentrated on core strategies and
emerged stronger, and they are optimistic that strategic change has resulted in a more
agile complete beverage organization. While the market remains volatile, the firm plans
to build on its momentum starting in 2021 in order to boost topline growth and maximize
profits.
In terms of market share, the company increased its value share in total
nonalcoholic ready-to-drink (NARTD) beverages for both the quarter and the full year of
2021, with advances in both at home and distant channels. The company maintains a
significant value share in total NARTD beverages, as well as in both at home and
distant channels.
Net revenues increased by 16 percent to $10.0 billion, putting the company ahead of
schedule for 2019, while organic revenues (non-GAAP) increased by 14 percent.
Concentrate sales increased by 8%, while price/mix increased by 6%. The company's
revenue increased across the board, with particular strength in markets where
coronavirus-related anxiety has subsided. Operating margin was 28.9%, up from 26.6
percent the year before, while comparable operating margin (non-GAAP) was 30.0
percent, up from 30.4 percent the year before. A considerable increase in marketing
investments versus the preceding year drove comparable operating margin (non-GAAP)
reduction, which was partially offset by excellent revenue growth.
