Guidelines for Group assignment

In a group of 4 to 5 members, students will analyze a service provider and the marketing
problems they are facing, then propose some recommendations.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:
1. Group presentation: 40%
2. Group report: 60%

SUBMISSION DETAILS
Each group has to submit a Report of maximum 20 pages (+/- 10%) excluding appendix.
You will then deliver a 25 minutes Presentation on the result of your project followed by
5 minutes Q&A.
You might consider the following guidelines for your report structure. This piece of work
should also have a clear theoretical underpinning from your analysis and
recommendation.

Guidelines

1. Title page: This makes the first impression. It should have the client/product name
(and logo) of the company or not-for-profit organisation. The date the project is
turned in (DUE DATE) and word count.
2. Table of Contents
3. Executive summary: This is a brief abstract of the key elements of your report and
highlights recommendations made (not included in the word count).

5.1. Business/company Context

5.2. SWOT Analysis

5.2. Competitor Analysis

5.3. PESTLE analysis

6. Consumer Research
6.1 Primary Research of the consumer and customer profile

7. Analysis and Evaluation of Current 7Ps Marketing Strategy
7.1 Product strategy = Core product + Supplementary services
7.2 Pricing strategy = Answers all questions about WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, HOW
