The New kingdom Pharaoh that was ultimately more controversial was the religious

heretic Akhenaten. According to Akhenaten, he was devoted to the worshipping of only the

Aton, and thus he defied tradition and established a contemporary religion that believed in only

one god; the sun god Aten. Akhenaten erased every image of Amon and every writing that

contained his name and in addition to other scripts that had the word gods. Furthermore, the

religious heretic Akhenaten dropped the funerary religion that belonged to the Osiris, and

Akhenaten was now the wellspring of blessing for the individuals who died. Besides, Akhenaten

decamped his capital from Thebes to Amarna also Tel El Amarna, a more modernized city that

consisted of pools, gardens, and villas with trees. As a result, Akhenaten began shutting down

the old temples, which made him unpopular, revealing how his inadequacy of vivacity for the

kinship practical duties was inimical to the Imperial Interests of Egypt.

According to the Aton Hymn, inscribed in various parts inside the tombs of Akhenaton,

the Sun Disk religion was dependent on the solar disk, which is labeled as the supreme mover of

life, whose rising everyday rejuvenated all living organisms on the planet and at whose setting

every living creature went to sleep. The religion majorly centered their attention on the

beneficent provision of their god to the world to the world of nature. Further, in this religion, the

king himself was the only one who had a privileged and intimate connection to his god, and

knowability and divine revelation were prearranged for him alone. The hymn remains to be

neutral regarding the explication of the enigmas of divinity.
