prepare a short report on ANY of the following topics:

1. Compare and contrast the surveillance state vs. surveillance capitalists.

○ Are individuals protected by the U.S. Constitution from the "capitalists"


(Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc.) or from the state (FBI, NSA, CIA)?
○ Does the FBI, or any "state agencies" need a warrant to listen to
your phone conversations, intercept your emails, read your text
messages. etc...? Does the 4th Amendment protect us as
individuals from government agencies?
○ Does the 4th Amendment or any part of the U.S. Constitution
protect us from Google, Facebook, etc.. from "gathering" data from
us? What is your expectation of privacy - government agencies vs.
the "capitalists." How can we improve the situation?

2. What are your thoughts on the surveillance capitalists?

○ Why are they collecting data - "digital exhaust" ? How are they using that
data? How much money did Facebook and Google earn last year. What are
they selling? Are there any political implications? Do you trust them? Are
they really "protecting" your privacy or selling it to the highest bidder, using it
to manipulate you?

3. What is your overall impression on any segment of this documentary. Is there a


future in truck driving or will they be replaced by AI?

4, What are your thoughts on facial recognition? How will it impact us?
