What does mean Human Karyotype?

Karyotyping is the process by which photographs

of chromosomes are taken in order to determine the chromosome
complement of an individual, including the number of chromosomes
and any abnormalities. The term karyotype is also used for the
complete set of chromosomes in a species or in an individual
organism and for a test that detects this complement or measures
the number.
Example of Karyotype Females:

Example of Karyotype Male:

Differences of Karyotype Male VS Female
Females have two X chromosomes, while males have one
X and one Y chromosome. A picture of all 46
chromosomes in their pairs is called a karyotype. A
normal female karyotype is written 46, XX, and a
normal male karyotype is written 46, XY.
