ABCD,

I wanted to inform you that your son ABCD refused to participate in class today. He was asked
multiple times to put his phone away and to play his music with the rest of the class, but he
responded with “I don’t know it and I can’t learn it.” ABCD was given help many times but still
chose to sit back and not participate.
If you are able, please encourage ABCD to participate in class so that he is learning his music
to better himself and the ensemble.

Ms. EFGH,

I wanted to inform you that your son EFGH was very disruptive and rude to myself and other
students during class today. During the lesson EFGH became argumentative and had multiple
outbursts about the content creating a chaotic learning environment for the rest of the students.
I encouraged EFGH to speak only when needed and to raise his hand whenever he has a
question to help prevent disrupting the whole class.
If you are able, please also encourage EFGH to refrain from unnecessary talking and arguing in
class.
