Management

HRM is defined as the process of managing


human talent to achieve an organization’s
objective (Snell & Bohlander).
Scope of HRM
Based on theoretical work in the field of organizational
behavior it is proposed that HRM comprises of the following:
1. A set of policies or procedures designed to maximize
organizational integration.
2. Employees’ competency, engagement, commitment,
satisfaction, motivation, skills and talent management,
3. Job design, Manpower Forecasting and Performance
Appraisal,
4. Labor laws.
