Operation Theatre Technology is a detailed technical occupation in the field of health science.
Also recognised as Operating Theatre Technicians (OTT). It is the upcoming field of interest
which deals with the works and management of the operation theatre.

Career scope & the jobs executed by a surgical technician include:

 Supervision of the circumstances in the operating room and continually measures the
requirement of the patient and surgical team. 

 Getting ready the operating room for surgery and arranging & adjusting the surgical
equipments.

 Give technical assistance to surgeons, nurses and anaesthetists.

 Conduct surgeries in different domains like general, gynaecology, Neuro, plastic surgery
and Urology.

Prerequisites:

Apart from the basic educational requirements, outstanding scientific skills,

communication skills and behavioural skills are necessary for surgical technologists.
