USE
Systems of grease management containerisation are used for automatic refilling of grease
under operation for one, but mostly for several lubrication pumps of any type (63 Z2, UCF, 12
T1, VEG etc.) that serve as sources of pressure lubricant in central lubrication system circuits
of larger size, i.e. for circuits with tens or hundreds of lubricated points.
Container management is applied in cement works, metallurgy, rubber and plastics industry,
and in plants requiring absolute cleanness of lubricants when pumping and refilling lubricant
grease. Using containerisation significantly reduces the purchase cost of lubricants per
kilogram, while considerably increasing the environment friendliness of the operation
compared to common filling equipment.
DESCRIPTION
The basic element of the grease refilling circuit is the source of pressure – a filling pneumatic
device working on the principle of a double-acting pneumatic pump. The lubricant feed is
connected directly to the container outlet. In the operating mode, the filling device
simultaneously sucks in grease and the same time forces the grease with corresponding
pressure into the outlet that is connected to distribution pipes leading to individual lubrication
pump tanks – see the diagram. Each lubrication pump such as 63 Z2H has a pneumatic or
electric stopcock installed for remote control of the tank refilling system.
Operation method:
- the minimum level signalisation of any of the 63 Z2H lubrication pumps sends an electric
command that the tank needs refilling,
- the electromagnetic valve of the air inlet opens, starting the pneumatic filler motor,
- the corresponding electric or pneumatic cock opens,
- the filling device applies pressure to grease that refills the tank of the 63 Z2H lubrication
pump through the open passage, until the maximum level is reached, followed by closing
the cock and stopping the filling device motor.
The particular model and technical specifications must always be adapted to the specific
conditions and needs of the defined technological equipment.
The basic model of the containerisation system consists of the following components:
