Student's Checklist On Things To Bring To Germany
1. 2 bags
1 small hand luggage
1 large luggage – canvas type with rollers if possible – 30kg
2. Clothes : t-shirts, shirts, jeans, pants (not too many)
3. Underwear
4. Towels
1 big
1 small – to put in the hand luggage
5. Complete Baju Melaju with sampan/Baju kurung – 1 or 2 pairs
6. Songkok/Selendang
7. Instant food – maggi, serunding, sambal ikan bilis, asam2 boi, light snacks, food that does not stink &
kering
8. Stationeries – to start off with the 1 month training
9. Sejadah, kain sembahyang/telekung, yassin, small Al-Quran, etc
10. Small & inexpensive souvenirs from Malaysia
11. 1 Light jacket – in case it gets cold in the plane
12. Toileteries – for the first month. Kalau tak faham, look it up in the dictionary!
13. Some English books – for light reading & your Deutsch dictionary!
14. Some Malay songs – Hari Raya, etc (optional)
15. Some Al-Quran recital CDs
16. Your certificates & resume – put everything nicely in a folder
17. Shoes – do not buy leather shoes yang kilat2 tu. Comfortable shoes only

Underwear
Passport & important documents
Light jacket
Light snacks – asam, sweets, chewing gums, in case nak muntah!
Light medication – panadol, minyak cap kapak, ubat batuk cap ibu & anak or any other brand,
ubat demam & selsema. Just in case…
