range is from 0 to 100
this is called continious data
wherever we have interval or range

2.discreet data: only one unique value should be there no range and interval
0 accidents or 10 accidents we dont have a range any number can occur
we cannot fix any value
the value is uncertain

INFERENTIAL STATISTICS
identify the trends, with past evidence we can conclude the statemnt
Exmple:- MILAGE OF A CAR
mileage 20
check if the statement is true or not
test someone claim is it true or not
it helps in making conclusions that whatever statement is true or not

variables we have are related or not

directly or inversly related to the variable
correlation of variable
