Goal is to learn the names of God, on how he introduced Himself to man, and His
attributes.

Egyptian writing isn't true in the Bible

Joseph Smith (founder of Mormons) according to him, he found an ancient script in
the mountains where the Book of Mormons came from. But pious Jews never accept
other languages except Hebrew and Aramaic. They also don't accept the Septuagint
because it is written in Greek, so Jews today don't believe in the New Testament.

Jacobean English = Old Elizabethan English. Since the Bible is written in this
English, the dictionary used should be the British Lexicon or 1828 Webster
Dictionary. i.e. gay. Gay is happy, not queer. The king wore a gay(elegant)
apparel.

A certain passsage has only 1 interpretation, but many applications.

Customs and traditions are also important in familiarizing the Bible.

From Genesis to Revelation, Jesus is the only theme.

A. OT's 39 Books - Anticipation of Christ, the Messiah, the annointed one. Messiah
= Masiah/Messius(transliteration) The question is, what kind of Messiah? High
Priest, King of kings, Prophet in one = Jesus Christ. Di makuhakuha ng mga NT
personalities (Saducees and others). The Messiah is the 3 positions combined.
B. NT's 27 Books - Realization of Christ. Kasi sa OT is the shadow, and the NT is
the realization.

GOLDEN RULE: "Scripture interprets Scripture". We don't interpret, but we expound.

The Scripture interprets itself.

BAPTIST HISTORY (Matthew 16:18)

Not traditional way like Trail of Blood. We'll focus on Baptist Churches/Church
History.
