Contractor's Request for 3" I Exionsion of Time (EOT- 3) for Contract Package- 3

Dear Sir.

In the light of report submitted by Resident Engineer (ACE) KSK Campus regarding the subject project,
ACE ARTS recommends the extension of the project up to 30th June. 2020 (copy of the report is
attached).

The extension of 213 days i.e. 7 months up to June 30,2020 in completion of the project will be given
as 113 days (3-months. 22 days) i.e. up to March 22, 2020 because of "no fault of Contractor" and
balance 3-months and 10 days delay because of the fault of Contractor" for which he is responsible. It
is also recommended that the "The Engineer" should invoke Clause 47.1 (Liquidated Damages for
Delay) for each day of delay at suitable rate (0.1% minimum to 10% maximum of the Contract Price) as
mentioned in Appendix-A (Special Stipulations) of the Contract as the accrued benefits of the project is
being hampered due to delays on part of the contractor.

The Contractor be also directed to extend his Performance Guarantee covering the extended period of
Construction as well as the Defects Liability Period (Maintenance Period) and should also submit his
Realistic Revised Work Schedule for approval of The Engineer/ Employer.
