The above referred project was approved by HEC on 10-07-2004 at a cost of

Rs. 36.756 Million. In amount of Rs. 32.228 Million has so far been released and the
following items have been purchased/procured.

1. Scanning Electron Microscope (Procured)

2. Diamond Wheel Cutter (Procured)
3. Scanning Probe Microscope (Procured)
4. Micro Hardness Tester (L/C has been opened)
5. RF Induction Furnace (Purchase Order has been issued)

The purchase of the following items is under process.

1. Spare Parts
2. Books and Journals
3. Working Materials
4. Hiring of Manpower (Partially Complete at the earliest)

The project started from and was to complete in two year’s period by _______on
account of the ________________________, the project is expected to be complete
by _______. It is therefore requested that the completion period of above project may
please be extended upto 30th June 2007 so that the equipment may be installed in the
new building which will be completed by the end of the December 2006.
