Laboratory 4

Deep-Well Drilling Machine

MATERIALS NEEDED FOR LABORATORY:
Double Acting Cylinder
4/3 way valve mechanically with roller and spring in both right and left actuation
3/2 way valve with pushbutton
Spring loaded check valve
Air service unit
Compressor air supply

STEP 1:

STEP 2: Double Click the 4/n way valve and click the symbols shown in the picture below. Choose the roller in the
mechanically in both left and right. Same goes with the spring returned in both left and right actuation.

STEP 3: Double click your 3/2 way valve and choose the pushbutton with the spring returned in the right actuation. Do
this step with the other one 3/2 way vavle.
STEP 4: Click the all terminator 3 and change the connection line into the symbol shown in the picture. Except for the
terminator on 4/3 way vavle

STEP 5: Connect all the terminator from double acting cylinder to the compressor air supply/
STEP 6: Review your work if its functioning or not. If it is functioning the result would be like this
Laboratory 5
Pneumatic Circuit for Shuttle Valve Operation
Components used
The pneumatic components which can be used to implement the mentioned task are as follows:

• double acting cylinder

• 3/2 push button valve
• 3/2 roller valve
• shuttle valve
• 3/2-foot pedal actuated valve
• 5/3 pneumatic actuated direction control valve
• compressed air source and connecting piping

STEP 1: Gather all the components needed in this laboratory.

STEP 2: Double click 5/2 way valve into pneumatically and click the connection design of both sides and change 14 on
the left and 12 on the right.

STEP 3: Change your 2 3/2 way valve into pushbutton and pedal button while the other one is roller. All of the 3/2 way
valve has the spring returned in the right actuation. And on the bottom change it into pushbutton on both right and left
actuation. Change also the bottom 3/2 way valve into the initial position.
STEP 4: Change all of your terminator no. 5 and 3 in 5/2 way valve and no.3 in all 3/2 way valve into the symbol shown
in the photo.

STEP 5: Connect all of the connection line from double acting cylinder to the air supply.

STEP 6: Double click your distance rule and encode the S3 and put the value of 100. After that, placed the label on the
3/2 way valve with roller.

STEP 7: Placed a text on the double acting cylinder as A, the 5/3 way valve as V2, shuttle valve as V1. As for the 3/2
way pushbutton label as S1, pedal button as S2, roller as S3 and both push button as S0. Additional information, labeled
the air service unit as Z0.
STEP 8: Review your work beforehand, if its working. It would show this;
Laboratory 6
Pneumatic Circuit for Embossing Application

Components used
The pneumatic components to be used to implement this task are:
• double acting cylinder
• 3/2 push button valve
• 3/2 roller valve • shuttle valve
• 5/3 pneumatic actuated direction control valve
• pressure sequence valve
• compressed air source
• pressure gauge and connecting piping

STEP 1: Gather all materials or components needed for this laboratory

STEP 2: Put the rectangle in between the variable closing pressure compensator and 3/2 way valve. Change your 5/3 way
valve into 5/3 pneumatic actuated direction control valve.
STEP 3: Change the 3/2 way valve into pushbutton, roller both with spring-returned and both pushbutton.
STEP 4: Type 14 and 12 respectively in the connection design and change the both pushbutton into initial position. All
terminator no. 3 and 5 should be change into direct of flow pneumatic and hydraulic. And no.2 of variable closing
pressure compensator should be change it into tank symbol.
STEP 5: Connect all the terminator from double acting cylinder as for the pressure gauge connect it between the double
acting and 5/3 way valve. After that, variable closing pressure compensator should be connected to the gauge.
STEP 6: Change the connection of 14 and 12 into control line. The connect of terminator 1 of variable closing pressure
compensator into the between line of 3/2 way valve.
STEP 7: Label the distance rule S2 and put the value of 100. After that, label the 3/2 way with roller as S2.
STEP 8: Put a label on both pushbutton as S0, 3/2 way pushbutton as S1, 3/2 way with roller valve as S2. Air service
labeled as Z0, pressure gauge as Z1. 5/3 way valve served as V2, variable closing pressure compensator as V1. Lastly
labeled the double acting cylinder as A.
STEP 9: Review the laboratory if it was functioning.
