Illegal immigrants are who do not have legal right to stay in that country.

Illegal immigrations
happen due to the disparity of rich and poor countries in employment and wages occur. Even though
most people think that illegal immigrants are bad for the economy, we strongly believe that illegal
immigrants are good for the economy because it is low cost hiring, and it helps the development in
secondary sector. However, it is undeniable that illegal immigrants are collapse of our national
currency and affect the country's finances.

Firstly, illegal immigrants are low cost hiring. This is true because illegal immigrants often
lack adequate speaking skills and professional services. Illegal immigrants will do whatever as long as
to get a job even it is low wages. As we can see, illegal immigrants are working in low skilled job
such as waiter, cleaner, garbage collector and so on. Thus, illegal immigrants are good for the
economy as their employer hire them in low cost.

Secondly, illegal immigrants help the development in secondary sector. Many countries keep
on constructing building for commercial and living use because of large population of human capital.
Construction of building needs many workers yet they can finish it by time. Illegal immigrants have
become the first choice by employers because they can accommodate the insufficient number of
employees. Example, many illegal immigrants who are from Bangladesh, Myanmar and Vietnam
work in construction field to develop a building. In short, illegal immigrants help maintain and ensure
the development of a country.

However, illegal immigrations will collapse of our national currency. This is because, foreign
workers working in Malaysia will send money to their families to their country of origin. This will
cause inflation because when the currency declines, imported goods become expensive and the
purchasing power of the people will decrease. Malaysia depends a lot on imports goods in certain
sectors, such as rice from Thailand and Vietnam. Thus, I strongly believe that illegal immigration will
give disadvantages to our country, because it will affect our currency even though they will help us a
lot in shortage laborer problem.

Furthermore, foreign workers will also affect the country's finances. Government had to bear
their welfare when they were arrested and to be sent to their home country. We can see now, that our
government has to give free shelters and swab test of Covid-19 against illegal immigrations. We
should be concerned about our country, because the whole world is closing their borders to protect
national security. As New Zealand's had closed the border earlier has succeeded in restarin the Covid-
19 effectively. Thus, I strongly believe that illegal immigration will give disadvantages to our country.
We should overcome this problem by tighten the border.

In conclusion, illegal immigrations have more disadvantages because illegal

immigrations will affect our currency money and triggering economic problems. However,
immigrations do have advantages such as low cost workers and develop secondary sector.
What is more important, people need to realize that our country will have a lot of
disadvantages if the illegal immigrants isn’t solve as soon as possible. Having presented our
arguments, we once again totally agree on the statement that “Illegal immigrations is not
good for our economy”
