EXPERIENCE
March 2022 – April 29th 2022

STUDENT TEACHER, Windsor Middle School

Student teaching consisted of, but not limited to, creating and planning new content. Along with teaching
the planned content, it is important to teach it, assess student progress followed by reflection. Everyday
consisted of greeting students, teaching students and most importantly, building positive, impactful
relationships.

January 2022 – March 2022

NANNY, Meghan and Travis Bahnsen

Nannying consisted of picking the child up from school, taking her home, to practice or where she needed
to be. It is important to be a friend for the child, make sure she has something to eat, make sure her
homework is finished and provide help if needed. It is also important to keep her active and outside doing
something!

February 2019 – October 2019

ACTIVITY LEADER, ABC Child Development Centers Bright School Aged

Duties included setting up and tearing down of materials needed. Duties also included welcome children
into the cafeteria as soon as school got out, interacting with the students, helping with homework, playing
with the students all while making sure the students were chaperoned and safe at all times; also, in charge
of signing kids in and releasing them to the correct parent or adult.

May 2017 – August 2020

CAREGIVER, KIDSTOWN DROP‐IN CHILD CARE CENTER


Duties included cleaning the center, watching and redirecting kids, encouraging kids, prepping meals and
most importantly, ensuring the safety of all kids.

Nannying consisted of taking care of the children, making lunch, taking them to the park, playing with them
and allowing for their creativity to bloom.

ACTIVITIES
I have volunteered with Hope in the City previously and am now volunteering with Kids Hope USA. Kids
Hope USA is a mentoring program for elementary aged children. I have a passion for making a positive
impact on not only children’s lives but also in anyone I meet, even if that impact is just making them smile
or making their day.
