Cool pics of Kobori School Tosui Jutsu 小堀流踏水術 Looks like a


pretty powerful swimming school since they can wield Naginata. The
lumpy looking things are some sort of inflatable...thingy. Sorry the
text at the bottom is out of my league.

Japanese swimming schools are generally powerful. I
have never tried this with a O naginata nor a yari, but the
tachi oyogi stationary swimming technique allows you to
do such thing for sure with enough training.

Actually the lumpy thing is a set of gourds for
floating. It’s called as 浮襷(Ukidasuki), which is a
characteristic in tosui jutsu.
