Informational reports consist of the only presentation of information detailed conversation and
analysis are not provided. The analytical report provides a comprehensive conversation on the
basis of the analyzed data. These reports offer both information and analysis, but they also
include recommendations. Unlike an informational report, this type of report includes
recommendations.
Informational reports are less useful in making quick decisions because they present data
without analysis or interpretation. Because there are no recommendations in such a report, the
decision is not helpful.Since an analytical report interprets data and makes recommendations, it
can be used to make a quick decision. Executives can make decisions based on the analysis and
recommendations in such a report
