In this document, I'm going to cover the key frequencies that you will
need to pay attention to when EQ'ing your tracks. With each
instrument you're working on, you'll want to boost certain frequency
ranges in order to bring out the key characteristics of the instrument
or you'll want to reduce certain ranges to get rid of any unwanted
qualities that will otherwise make your mixes sound cluttered.

TIPS FOR EQ
- Cut first, then boost
- Find problem frequencies by boosting and sweeping with a narrow Q
setting, then cut
- Watch meters when adding EQ to make sure you don't clip
- Don't EQ if you don't need to
- Use HPF and LPF to eliminate low end rumble and high end noise
