With prior experience in Early Childhood Education, I believe I am the perfect candidate for a
lead teacher position. I have spent years studying child development/education and have had
experience working as a lead teacher.

In my role as a Lead Teacher, I had the responsibilities of ensuring that all students were
engaged in everyday activities, felt safe, and have fun. I am able to communicate efficiently
with all students and their parents and can collaborate with any coworker. I like to create fun
and engaging activities that has the children learning at the same time. I believe children learn
best through play and should be given many different opportunities to express themselves
through play.

In order to better my education, I decided to stop working during my last few months of school
to full focus on Student Teaching. For the last three months of schooling, I spent full time at a
public elementary school, specifically in a kindergarten and preschool room. By doing so, I will
receive my Professional Educators License and be eligible to work with kindergarten through
second grade.
