RACISM

Racism is a global issue that exist all over the world, Including Pakistan. Here we experience
discrimination and separation of different sorts in our daily existence. From my perspective, one
of the most common way people show racism is in their communication, primarily through
verbal, non-verbal communication, and vocabulary choices. Pakistan of African origin or
Sheedis are also underprivileged of economic, social, and political rights and they are also not
considered as equal citizens with fairer skin. They are bought to South Asia a slaves or military
assistance by Arab Traders. Persistent negative stereotypes about the Sheedis in Pakistan, limit
the education and employment prospects, keeping numerous in destitution.

In certain parts in Pakistan, there are privileged individuals either feudalist which means a social
system designating the social, economic, and political conditions. The ruler claimed all the land
and gave it to his aristocrats in return for their loyalty and military assistance. The aristocrats in
turn held land that peasants were permitted to farm in return for their labor. While capitalists, a
person who is wealthy who uses money to invest in business. The feudalist and capitalist treating
lower classes individuals in exceptionally prejudicial, discriminatory, and humiliating manners.
No poor people are permitted to sit on a chair or bed in front of rich people and they are not
allowed to talk and ask questions or to decide things on their own or even for their families.
Also, poor farmers are called lower class or “Hari” (landless farmers, whose parents and
grandparents were also landless farmers), and they are not considered to have equivalent
mankind to individuals of the high society. It affects range from daily relational communications
molded by competition to race-based freedoms and so on it is reflected in inequality, yet no
limited to health, wealth, and justice.

Hence, stopping racism is everyone’s responsibility. Together, we must work to end racism and
promote equality. Racism has a big impact in communication because racism plays a big role in
affecting individual’s perceptions about other races before interacting with them and might lead
others to have biased act, perspective towards groups. If somebody has stereotypical information
about a race that is negative, it has the likelihood to influence their judgment in choosing to
communicate and how to collaborate with that race. We need to end racism but first, we need to
recognize its existence. Racism matters to all of us, it’s anything but an achievement you can
mark off a rundown. It’s a consistent self-reflection and willingness to be held accountable. To
be anti-racist, we must acknowledge differences rather that pretending they aren’t there.
