WORK EXPERIENCE
Service Engineer at SKAPS Industries, GA, USA (Oct,2008-June,2010).
* Service of Installed X-ray equipment and verifies proper operation of the equi
pment.
* Minimizing the down time of the system.
* Reporting to the management (paperwork, problems, comments, failure w/machines
, etc.)
Maintenance Engineer at Manglam Clinic, Mehsana, North Gujarat, India. (Jul, 200
5-Aug, 2006)
* Rectified problems with the medical Instruments such as X-ray, CT-scan, MRI, U
ltrasound machine, Patient monitoring devices and Pathology equipments.
Trainee Engineer at Siemens Medical Solution Limited, Verna, Goa, India. (Aug, 2
004-Dec, 2004)
* Performed assembly of the X-ray, CT scan, Fluoroscopic machine and the High Fr
equency X-ray generator.
* Tested devices according to the ISO regulations.
Trainee Engineer at S.A.L. Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. (Jun, 2004- Aug,
2004)
* Worked as Biomedical Engineer to monitor medical instrument activities like x-
ray, CT-scan, MRI, Cardiovascular devices, patient monitoring and diagnostic equ
ipments (such as Ventilators, Ultasound machine, Cardiac Monitors) and to solve
problems, if occur.

OTHER EXPERIENCE:
* Working as Trainer of Student Lab Assistant in OIT (Office of information Tech
nology) at UTA, USA. (Mar,2007-Aug,2008) (Part-time)
RELATED PROJECTS:
Automatic Dosage Reduction:
The project was related to control the unnecessary x-ray dose in Fluoroscopy and
X-ray devices.
Digital Image Processing:
Using MATLAB Code, I had performed 18 different projects regarding the various t
asks of image such as color transformation of image, quantization of image, zoom
ing image, image enhancement and filtering of image.
Image processing in AFNI software during Finger tapping process:
This entire project was based on processing of MRI image of brain during biologi
cal movements such as finger tapping and to diagnose the problems related to bra
in using AFNI.
To localize Biliary tree structure by Multi-channel Probe Study:
In laparoscopic cholecystectomy, the bile duct injuries have occurred due to imp
roper visualization of biliary tree structure. Basic aim of this project was to
localize biliary tree more safely and easily compared to conventional imaging mo
dalities.
OTHER PROJECTS:
Blood Brain Barrier (BBB) delivery:
In this project, I have designed a drug delivery system which could cross the BB
B of the brain and deliver drugs at the target site.
Using Nanobiomaterials to treat Vascular Injury:
Coronary interventions (Coronary Artery Stent Implant, Angioplasty...etc.) are c
reating many vascular complications such as restenosis, inflammation, thrombosis
...etc. I had made design which can reduce the endothelial dysfunction, a respon
sible for initiating vascular injury.
TECHNICAL PAPER PRESENTATAION:
1. Automatic Hemo Dialyzer.
2. High Frequency X-ray generator.
3. Comparison between LEDI and CW5 Instruments.
4. Time resolved Optical tomography using Short pulse laser for Tumor detection.
