Holly Magiera and I have been colleagues at Twin Rivers Charter School for the last two
years. During that time, I have gotten to know Holly as a thoughtful and reflective
teacher. During collaborations have found her to be helpful and insightful.

Holly has impressed me with her professionalism from our first meeting. She is always
prepared with a stimulating standard-based lesson for each of her classes. Her classroom
management is outstanding; she is comfortable with her students yet maintains a
professional presence and good control of the class. Holly does an excellent job of being
sensitive to each child’s needs and does her best to ensure that they are put in a place to
succeed.

Holly does a great job of reacting to challenges that are beyond her control. During our
first year and a half teaching together, she was very flexible and resilient to all the
challenges that COVID presented. Holly has been creative in finding ways to
communicate material to her students while they were out for COVID or other illness.
She even used her prep time to teach a student who was on independent study for medical
reasons.

Holly and I have two classes in common. She does a great job of keeping me informed
of any changes in the dynamic for either class. Kimberly asks for my feedback on our
shared classes and offers suggestions to help me create a positive learning environment.

Holly possesses a calm confidence that staff and students recognize and respect. These
skills, along with many years of experience in the Elementary and Middle Schools make
Holly an ideal candidate. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Holly Magiera
for any position he applies.
