Today is Wednesday March 19 2014. This is my biography presentation , I was born on June 1880 I
n Tuscumbia Alabama . My moms and dads name were kate and Arthur . my dad was captain of
civil war. I had two brothers and one sister. When I was 19 months old I got a terrible illness. A
couple of days after I got sickness , I became deaf and blind. When I didn’t get what I wanted I
would throw temper tantrums. In 1887 my teacher, Ann Sullivan came, and we didn’t get along
very well at first. Then Anne started making funny sounds in my hand and I didn’t know what they
meant. One day were outside and she started making those funny signs again. She took me to
water pump and pumped the water to my hands at the same time she was doing the sign again. In
my hands she spelt W-A-T-E-R again and again. Then I knew what it meant . After this I wanted
to know what all the things in the world name were even my teacher. In my hand she spelt her
name teacher . By the end of august I knew more then 625 words, and I was so happy that I
started learning.
